Service Description
This small group class is designed for Foundation GCSE students aiming to achieve a secure Grade 4–5. Lessons focus on building confidence, improving problem solving skills, and strengthening core topics including number, algebra, ratio, geometry, graphs, and exam techniques. Students will learn through clear explanations, guided practice, interactive questions, and past paper style problems in a supportive and encouraging environment. The class also focuses on common exam mistakes, calculator skills, and methods to help students gain marks efficiently in the GCSE exam.
Cancellation Policy
Attendance Students are expected to attend classes on time and participate respectfully throughout the session. Late arrivals may miss important explanations and exam practice. Payments All classes must be paid for in advance to secure a place in the group session. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis. Cancellations & Refunds If a student is unable to attend, at least 24 hours notice is required. Missed classes without notice are non refundable. In the event that the tutor needs to cancel a session, students will be offered either a replacement class or a refund. Online Class Expectations Students should join classes with a stable internet connection and be prepared with the necessary materials, including a calculator, notebook, and pen. To maintain a comfortable and focused learning environment, webcams are expected to remain turned off during group classes. Students are encouraged to participate actively and can ask questions at any time using the chat box throughout the session. Respectful Learning Environment All students are expected to behave respectfully towards the tutor and other students. Disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the session without refund. Class Materials Any worksheets or resources provided are for personal educational use only and should not be shared or redistributed without permission. Academic Support These GCSE and IGCSE Maths group classes are designed to support students in building confidence, improving exam technique, and achieving their target grades. Progress depends on regular attendance, participation, and independent practice outside of lessons. A minimum of 5 students is required for the class to commence. If the minimum class size is not met, all students will receive a full refund. If a student is unable to attend a session, a recording link will be sent via email for catch up purposes and will be available for a limited time only. . Please note that all group classes will be recorded for educational and quality assurance purposes. By joining the class, students and parents/guardians consent to the recording and processing of audio and visual data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Recordings will be used solely for educational purposes and will not be shared publicly.
