"Ryan taught my daughter GCSE Maths for just over a year as a home schooled pupil. She has just had her GCSE results and achieved a grade 7! My daughter always found maths difficult but Ryan had a great way of teaching in a format she could understand. He always listened to my feedback so he could tailor the lesson to her needs which was amazing. He was patient and always happy to go over work with her and answer questions she had even if it was outside of the lessons he would always answer a message, so we felt that he genuinely cares about his pupils. I really can't recommend him enough and the fact that my daughter has got a grade 7 when a year ago she thought she would just about get a 5 or 6 is incredible. "I am currently in year 11 and began home schooling nearly a year ago. I have Ryan as a full time maths teacher for 3 hours a week. Maths has always been the subject that I have struggled with the most, as I found it difficult to understand why I needed to learn it and how it could be applicable in real world context. Ryan does a great job at explaining each of the topics and getting me to really understand how they work and why we do them and not just how to do them. This in turn has really helped me enjoy maths much more and do much better in the subject. Ryan also implements little checks into the higher scoring questions, so I can go away from that question knowing that it is correct, which I know will make me feel more reassured for the real GCSEs. I would highly recommend Ryan as a maths tutor as he goes above and beyond (in and out the lesson, as he has to set me homework and find time to mark that as well) and makes maths much more enjoyable for me!"
