Ryan has been an excellent GCSE maths tutor for my son, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. One of the most noticeable improvements has been in my son’s confidence, Ryan’s patient and supportive approach has really helped him feel more comfortable tackling maths problems.

Ryan communicates very well with me as a parent, regularly sending updates on how my son is progressing and highlighting any areas that need attention. I really appreciate how proactive he is in asking for information from school, as it allows him to tailor each session to exactly what my son needs.

"I am currently in year 11 and began home schooling nearly a year ago. I have Ryan as a full time maths teacher for 3 hours a week. Maths has always been the subject that I have struggled with the most, as I found it difficult to understand why I needed to learn it and how it could be applicable in real world context. Ryan does a great job at explaining each of the topics and getting me to really understand how they work and why we do them and not just how to do them. This in turn has really helped me enjoy maths much more and do much better in the subject. Ryan also implements little checks into the higher scoring questions, so I can go away from that question knowing that it is correct, which I know will make me feel more reassured for the real GCSEs. I would highly recommend Ryan as a maths tutor as he goes above and beyond (in and out the lesson, as he has to set me homework and find time to mark that as well) and makes maths much more enjoyable for me!"
